Worship At St. John's
Worship Times | Advent and Christmas | Holy Week and Easter

Worship Times

Sunday at 8am
This is a quiet, said service of Holy Eucharist adapted from The Book of Common Prayer, including a sermon but no music. A small group gathers for coffee and conversation after worship.

Sunday at 10am
This Choral Eucharist is the main celebration of Sunday, including
music, sung Eucharist, and chanted psalm. From September to June, the choir is in residence offering weekly anthems, and children's program and supervised nursery are available. The 10am service is followed by coffee and conversation in the Great Hall.

Thursdays at 10am
Our mid-week service is also a said service adapted from The Book of Common Prayer. Occasionally, this service will also include the Sacrament of Healing. The congregation gathers in the choir area of the church. Coffee and conversation follow in the parlour.

Choral Evensong
Seasonally, St. John's is pleased to offer Choral Evensong. Three or four times a year this time-honoured liturgy is offered by our choir or combined with a visiting choir. The service is held on a Sunday afternoon at 4pm, and followed by a short recital of organ or choral music, sending you on your way rejoicing!
Check the calendar page for coming dates!

Scent Free Just Makes Sense!
Please keep our members, guests and kids safe!
Many folks are more than just "allergic" to scent... it puts their health in danger!
We ask our members and guests to PLEASE keep St. John's safe for everyone by keeping it scent free! Give perfume, cologne, scented body wash and creams a pass in our buildings, especially in worship. Thanks!

Peanut Safe
With members and kids who have anaphylaxic (turn blue and stop breathing) reactions to peanuts, we ask that everyone leave home anything that's been in contact with nuts/peanuts/nut oils. THANK YOU.
