Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.
And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
- Matthew 28:19-20

Adult Faith Nurture
A committment to learning and growing if faith as a Christian isa life-long joy. For Anglicans, liturgy is the principal way that we learn together about prayer, sacramental life, scripture and a life of faith lived in community. But St. John's also holds a variety of events and opportunities throughout each year to engage in continuing learning around various themes, topics and events.

Advent and Lent, as seasons of preparation for the two most important feasts of the Christian year, are favourite times for series and sessions. But bible study, education events, preaching series, guest speakers, educational programs and book studies are all a regular part of our parish life.

Parish Library
The parish library is a portable cart filled with great books and resources, recently completely reconstructed! It is a great resource for personal study and development in faith. We have a growing collection of books, CDs, and DVDs available for St. John's people to borrow.

Take advantage of the library to provide children, teens and adults with resources to enrich their spiritual and intellectual lives and augment ministries of the Church. Along with that we wish to provide some Christian recreational reading. The Library is open during Coffee Hour after the Sunday 10:00 am service.

There is an online catalogue which is easy to use. When you find something you would like to borrow, note the tag field. This is the name of the category where the item is to be found within the Church library. Items there are arranged by author within the various categories.

Click here to search the catalogue. You can access the catalogue from any device with internet access even from your mobile phone. \

Prayer resources are developed seasonally, with assigned daily readings for the comprehensive reading of holy scripture.
