Hospitality
If fellowship is about building up the parish community, this Hospitality ministry is about welcoming and serving the person we've yet to meet.

From setup to cleanup, while this extensive ministry is supported by staff, it is almost completely carried out by church members and other volunteers as a ministry to the community. All volunteers are trained in current and best practices in food and drink safety, and our commercial kitchen is regularly inspected by local health authorities. Our volunteers enjoy fellowship and friendship in the midst of the work they do in this ministry. This ministry enables us to serve our membership and the wider community in...

- funeral receptions
- anniversaries
- birthdays
- baby showers
- business meetings, conferences and workshops
- musical and theatrical concerts
- supporting fundraising events for the ministry of the church
- special occasions such as community breakfasts and dinners
- dinner theatres Heritage Days events, etc.
- Diocesan and Ecumenical events and conferences
- other in-house events such as Marriage Preparation
- ministry appreciation events, regional clericus, etc.

In service that overlaps with the Fellowship Ministry, our Hospitality Groups continue to provide for parishioner funerals, Lenten Lunches and the seasonal Seniors' Eucharists & Teas, and food for special meals and celebrations in the church family.

Our Kitchen Prayer
Gracious God,
All people, in every circumstance, are yours, and you love them.
May the food we offer feed them in body and soul.
May the spirit in which it is prepared reflect your abundant grace.
May the care with which we serve show welcome, and build up your family of faith.
May our ministry of hospitality be one of truth, unity and love, and may our service to you in this place be a blessing to your world.
Amen.
